Overview:
- The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center under the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) was established under Decision No. 1702/QD-HV dated August 20, 2025, issued by the President of the Institute, with the function of promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology transfer across the Institute, contributing to enhancing research capacity, applying science and technology, and developing an entrepreneurial ecosystem linked to practical applications.
- The Center serves as a bridge connecting academy, enterprises, investors, and experts to accelerate research commercialization, support technology startups and expand innovation spirit in students, lecturers and society.
- With a modern and globally integrated approach, IEC focuses on supporting startup businesses’ establishment and development; managing and utilizing intellectual property and technology transfer; organizing incubation and acceleration programs; training innovation capacity, and building national and international partnerships.
- Besides, IEC takes part in proposing and implementing experimental models (sandbox), developing innovation platforms, open data and pilot mechanism, which promote digital transformation aligned with innovation within the Academy and the region.
- Through diverse acctivities and comprehensive supporting ecosystem, PTIT IEC aims to become a driving force for innovation in the fields of digital technology, telecommunications, and digital economy, contributing to enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese human resources and businesses in the context of international integration.
